Boturnell Farm Environmental Policy

• We strive to reduce the impact we have on the environment, promote local goods and services whilst maintaining a good standard of service.
• We try to encourage our guests and employees to reduce, re-use and recycle wherever possible.
• We buy locally wherever practically possible.
• We aim to use fair trade and/or recycled products whenever possible.
• We are endeavouring to change o low energy bulbs, promote good practice by encouraging visitors not to use stand by and switch off. We are also replacing any worn out white goods with energy efficient goods. We trust this will have an impact on our energy usage.
• We employ local people all the year round.
• We save our stamps for the Monkey Sanctuary.
• We are compiling records of all the fauna and flora in our woods and constantly seeking ways to enhance the experience of walking in these ancient charcoal woods.
